Our interns woke up bright and early this morning to listen to our President and CEO, Joe Tarantino, introduce himself and speak about Protiviti. They also had a chance to network with Joe and members of the Executive Team last night at House of Blues.

Before lunch our entire Intern Challenge group gathered together to take our annual group picture. We ask everyone to represent their college and wear their school shirt to show our diversity across the nation. Protiviti has students from over 30 different universities this summer!

As we wrap up Day 3 of The Intern Challenge, we listened to one of our facilitators Holly Marrs interview several interns about their progress so far.

We are also able to listen to one of our Advisory Board Members, Evelyn Dilsaver, present her three suggestions to our interns.
1. Build relationships.
2. Build your brand.
3. Seek out superior experiences and learn from them.

As she ended her speech, she left us with one final tip to "take a risk."

This morning we started off The Intern Challenge with a Leadership Panel led by three Managing Directors- Tony Samer (San Francisco), Kim Dickerson (Metro DC), and Tyler Chase (Houston). We learned about their personal lives through quick fire interviews and listened to their advice for the workplace.
When asked how our interns could be successful, Tyler gave the advice to leverage your mentors and advisors and to always ask questions. Kim said you should try something you've never done before and not be afraid to fail, and Tony recommended our interns listen, be positive, and word hard.

During the quick fire 60 second interviews, we learned quite a few interesting facts about our Managing Directors:
Tony: The best place he's ever traveled for work was Singapore, and if he had a superpower, he would be able to time travel.
Kim: She collected stamps as a child, and if she didn't work for Protiviti, she'd want to be at Habitat for Humanity.
Tyler: His favorite season is football season, and if he could be a professional athlete, he'd be a pro-golfer.
We always appreciate our leadership taking the time out of their schedules to speak with our interns!

Last night, we had our annual 'Tiv Awards and our facilitators presented several interns with awards such as Most Protiviti Spirit, Best Dancer, and The Renaissance Man. We were even able to give out the Tyler Chase Lifetime Achievement Award to a 5 time Intern Challenge facilitator, Steve Wang. After the 'Tiv awards, everyone made their way outside to watch the fireworks show at Epcot.

Now that we are on our LAST morning, our faciliators dressed up in their best beach attire (because we are in sunny Orlando after all)! They gave a quick introduction before Scott Redfearn gave a presentation on "How to Succeed." It's the perfect way to start the last day of the 2014 Intern Challenge!
